Marina got into routine skincare from an early age, with her mum being her biggest inspiration – whose routines featured products from heritage brands such as Elemis and Gatineau.
In her adulthood – Marina began working in the industry on brand partnerships, and watched the exponential rise of influencer marketing. Working with leading global brands such as L’Oreal, Estée Lauder Companies, and TikTok to name a few, Marina gained insight into the workings of talent partnerships. Now Vice President of Beauty and Wellness at Gen-Z entertainment company Kyra Media, Marina has further built on this knowledge of beauty brand partnerships – and wanted to share this knowledge with others –
With a passion for beauty and wellness, Marina set up SoMarinations as a hobby, but has since built her platform as a place to share knowledge and her love for all things beauty.
Skincare has her heart, and with makeup trends popular at the moment – she loves the ‘skin-first trend’ with prep being the key to any flawless base. Any highlighters, blush or products that create a luminous complexion are her go to.
